HAAR - Hebridean Cuisine
October 2015 - Chef Murdo-Alex Macritchie brought his talents home to Lewis to showcase his fine Hebridean cuisine in the environment it was created from. The Gearrannan Black houses in Carloway provided the perfect compliment for an evening of Hebridean gastronomy.

CREATING CONTEXT
When promoting your Hebridean image you can utilise the magnificent landscape to tie in with your product like Murdo-Alex has done here. An example here is when roaming around Skigersta and Port Beach in Ness, we came across some seaweed and limpets that he would pick specifically for the next HAAR pop-up so we have some images of him picking out the best examples with the stunning surroundings and the peat stacks create a mental image of the warmth and scent that you might expect of a Hebridean evening. Another neat trick employed here is the use of negative space which can be used for overlay text on websites and printed promotional material just like his and this site too.
